I am a licensed professional counselor educated at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I have undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education. In order to earn my state license, I underwent 3,000 hours of supervised therapy with ongoing continuing education, consultation, staffing, and training with some of the best professionals in the area.
I have worked in the community mental health field for more than 9 years in both school-based and outpatient services. I have gained extensive experience in assessing clients for mental health disorders, developing appropriate treatment recommendations, and providing evidence-based interventions to improve moods, behaviors, and functioning.
I am now in a private practice setting in order to reach more members of my community who could benefit from the experience and knowledge I have gained as a professional, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend.
